We work on spatial prediction, machine learning, and algorithm development, using high-resolution remote sensing from the air and space. Our research answers questions about photosynthesis and carbon density, population dynamics, carbon accounting, and how ecosystems are put together. Our work has been supported by NASA, the National Science Foundation, the USDA and the United States Department of Defense.
